THE ROOF

Louvers that open, close, and let light through

The roof is a field of 250 mm aluminum blades that pivot by motor — open sky, angled shade, or sealed flat. Swap any run of blades for glass ones and the roof keeps working, but the daylight comes through.

MOTOR + RAIN

It runs itself and drains itself

Rain streaming along the closed blades of a louvered roof at dusk, warm light glowing through the wet edge.

The motor is built into the frame — you never see it. When it rains, the closed roof sheds water into a gutter hidden inside the perimeter, down through the posts. No drips off the edge, no pipes on show.
